Olympian Fact Sheet: Hidilyn Diaz (Weightlifting)

If there is anyone more pressed to deliver the Philippines’ first Olympic gold medal, it would definitely be weightlifting star Hidilyn Diaz.

Now on her fourth appearance in the quadrennial games, Diaz will aim for no less than to improve on her silver-medal finish in the 2016 Rio Olympics.

At 30 years old, Diaz will likely be making her final Olympic stint, and there would be no better way to cap off a stellar weightlifting career than by winning the ultimate prize in Tokyo.
