Shin dominates ICTSI Apo

MANILA, Philippines — Micah Shin shrugged off rain-soaked conditions and an early charge from Russell Bautista to pull off a breakaway nine-shot victory in the ICTSI Apo Golf Classic at Apo Golf in Davao City yesterday.

Shin, who entered the final round with a seven-stroke lead over Bautista, closed with a 2-under 70 for a wire-to-wire 17-under 271 winning total – his second on the 2026 Philippine Golf Tour after ruling the flagship The Country Club Invitational last January.

Despite the softened course and a shaky bogey-birdie-bogey stretch from No. 2, Shin steadied himself with birdies on Nos. 6 and 8.
