Metafit Fitness boot camp Sept 30

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Metafit Fitness Boot Camp returns with its Season 4 starting on Sept. 30 at the Centris Walk, Eton Centris in Quezon City.

The camp, which had a successful run the last three years, will be held until Nov. 6 consisting of 12 sessions to be held every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Expert fitness instructors, including Biggest Loser coach Jim Saret, will be handling the camp, which is part of MediCard Philippines’ mission of encouraging the public to live healthier lifestyles.

“The first part of getting healthy is making an effort,” said Dr. Nicky Montoya, president and CEO of Medicard Philippines, in yesterday’s PSA Forum at Shakey’s Malate, where he is joined by Kate Cruz Joaquin.

The Metafit Fitness Boot Camp started in February of 2012 at the Medicard Lifestyle Center in Makati, where participants were given a chance to challenge and motivate themselves for comprehensive training and high-intensity workouts.

Its success has produced three legs of the program across Metro Manila.

“After having the first three seasons of the MediCard-Metafit in Makati and Alabang, we are very excited that we are bringing the fun and fitness in Eton Centris. We thank them for providing the venue, and we look forward to meeting all the participants for the fourth season,” said Joaquin in the session presented by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp., Shakey’s, and Accel.

Online registration is open until Sept. 30 at www.facebook.com/MEDICard. Philippines/app_206429986046631.
