NCA’s world derby up at Ynares Arena

MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance is holdng the World Championship Derby on May 21, 23 and 25 with the top local breeders and gamefowl aficionados and those from the US fielding in their top-notch entries at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Leading the NCA-member roster are Elan Nagaño, Boyet Joson, Rene Medina, Bebot Uy, Tommy Chua, Osang dela Cruz, Arnold Mendoza, Isaac Newton, Eugene Martin, Luding Boongaling, Joel Teves, Danny Teves, Rudy Albano, Jimmy Ang, Ito Ynares, Gerry Ramos, Boy Valenzuela, Mario Villamor;

Eric dela Rosa, Butchoy Olano, Nestor Mercado, Lito Orillaza, Jun Santiago, Atong Ang, Manny Santos, Armand Santos, Patrick Antonio, Jun Topacio, Vic Yap, Bebot Roxas and Allan Bantile. Claude Bautista, Efren Canlas, Jimafer, and Cesar Dy.
The World Championship Derby serves as the highlight of the NCA sports calendar where cockfighting fans will be treated to three days of nail-biting fights.

Making up the American group are Tom Wilson, Oscar Akins, Roger Roberts, Jeff Hudstep, Larry Whitehead, Daimon and Fil-Ams Rene Medina and George Torres.
Meanwhile, the NCA Big Event will be held June 4, also at the Ynares Sports Arena.
Part of the proceeds of the event, sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor, will go to a scholarship fund for college students of UP-Los Baños.
