Delos Santos edges Alo for Seniors title

MANILA, Philippines - Veteran Danny Delos Santos outclassed Ric Alo in sudden death to win the Senior Professional Golfers Association of the Philippines (SPGAP) inaugural tournament last Wednesday at the Villamor Golf Club.

Delos Santos, former national amateur champion, and Alo fired identical 73-75-148 cards to share top honors in the two-day event. They won P22,000 each.

SPGAO president Rey Alit came in third with 149 after 74-75 rounds and won P14,000 in the two-day tournament backed by the friends of the country’s top golfing seniors and hosted by Villamor Golf Club through general manager Ret. Gen. Vic Guerzon.
