Kontrobersyal ang naging hiwalayan nina Chie Filomeno at Jake Cuenca kamakailan. Nakaranas ng online bashing ang aktres dahil sa diumano’y mas mayamang lalaki ang bagong manliligaw at ipinalit sa dating nobyo. “Since I started in the entertainment industry, I’ve always known that being in the public eye means being open to judgment both online and offline. Pero gaya ng lagi kong sinasabi, I am a public figure but I am not public property. I want to repeat that kasi lately my name and reputation have been questioned again because of recent issues,” statement ni Chie na ipinadala sa ABS-CBN News.

Kamakailan ay nauna nang nagbigay ng pahayag si Jake tungkol sa kanyang pinagdaanan sa mga nakalipas na buwan. “Right now, my only goal is to set things straight. This will be the last time na magsasalita ako about this issue. And I’m choosing to respond with calm, care and clarity. So let me clear the air, again.

“My story began in our humble home in Kamuning. I started cosplaying and doing commercial modeling at the age of 11 to earn my own allowance, and eventually found my way into acting, perfor­ming, and becoming a social media influencer. By the time I was 15, I had officially become the sole provider of my family.

Buhay ni Alex, naisalba ng Teatro

Masayang-masaya si Alex Diaz dahil muling nabigyan ng pagkakataon na makapagtanghal sa teatro. Isa ang aktor at modelo sa mga bida ng Bar Boys: The Musical na mapapanood hanggang Nov. 23 sa Hyundai Hall ng Ateneo de Manila University. Ibang karanasan para kay Alex ang pag-arte sa entablado. “You get to live the best day of your life. And then you get to do six shows a weekend and you never have room for regret,” nakangiting pahayag ni Alex.

Para sa binata ay malaki ang naitulong sa kanya ng pagtatanghal sa entablado lalo na noong may kinasangkutang kontrobersya. “In so many ways, it’s healing. I think there’s a dark side everywhere but with theater, I noticed that it attracts a lot of goofy, passionate artistic theater geeks and that kind of energy is just so healing.
