Gonzalez bagong coach ng Cagers
MANILA, Philippines – Matapos ang magandang ipinakita sa 2020 Chooks-to-Go Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League Lakan Cup, nangako ang Muntinlupa Cagers-Angelis Resort na palalakasin ang kanilang tropa.
Tinapik ng Cagers si Jose Rizal University head coach Louie Gonzalez para gabayan ang tropa sa susunod na MPBL season.
“As you all know, the past season wasn’t that good but with the new management and coaching staff, we will regain our glory in the MPBL,” sabi ni team owner Atty. Jem Sy.
Tumapos ang Muntinlupa sa No. 13 sa North Division mula sa naitalang 7-23 record.
“Mr. Louie Gonzalez is in charge now, he will recruit outstanding players that will contribute to the team and we will do our best to get the championship next season,” dagdag pa ni Sy.
Si Gonzalez ay naging bahagi ng coaching staff ni coach Aldin Ayo sa Letran Squires na naghari sa NCAA noong 2015.
“Sa ngayon ‘yung plano ko, we need to form a team that’s a little of everything,” sabi ni Gonzalez.
