Derek nagpa-practice nang pakasal!
Pasabog para kay Derek Ramsay ang offer ng GMA Network na gumawa ng project sa kanila. Ang mindset niya ngayon ay gumawa na lang ng pelikula bukod sa bagong investments nila ni John Estrada para sa Royal Era Dynasty na mailigtas ang mga Pinoy sa dengue at malaria at ang tie niya sa isang Singaporean company para ipalaganap ang mental health awareness.
“I want to take a break muna from showbiz and concentrate on stuff like this. The Lord is blessing me so much. Now I’m in talks with GMA. They were kind enough to invite my parents during the meeting. I really, really like that in a span of a week,” pahayag ni Derek sa launching ng bagong investment si kasama si John Estrada.
Gusto ng Kapuso network na magsimula na siya ngayong November pero nakiusap muna siyang next year na siya gawin ng project kapag nagkatuluyan.
Gusto niyang makasama si Jennylyn Mercado lalo na’t dalawang movies na ang nagawa nila. “But I can work with anyone. I’m not the type naman na namimili ng katrabaho,” rason ng hunk actor.
Walang conflict sa ibang network?
“Ahhh, wala naman! Ha! Ha! Ha!” bulalas niya. “My contract with TV 5 is over since April. It’s been a while kaya sabi ko, ang utak ko s focused on these things.
“It’s almost the end of the year. Yeah, my contract has been over since April. Currently, may ginagawa ako with Jessy (Mendiola). It’s almost done,” balita niya.
Teka, parang may lumabas sa social media na nagpakasal na sila ng girlfriend na si Joanne Villablanca?
“Saan naman lumabas na nagpakasal ako?” tanong niya.“Ahh, sa pelikula nagpakasal ako. Nag-cameo kami ni Jo sa movie ni Echo (Rosales) at ni Jessy (The Girl in Orange Dress). Kasi ‘yung role namin doon is nagpakasal. Practice pa lang po ‘yon,” saad ni Derek.
Baka in two to three years ay pakasal na sila. “Baka katayin na ko nu’n pag hindi pa! Ha! Ha! Ha!” sey ni Derek.
Teka, ano pala ang masasabi niya sa muling pagiging close nina Angelica Panganiban at Carlo Aquino?
“I hope so. I hope that Angel will find the right guy. They used to date each other before. It’s nice that they maintained the friendship all throughout. I hope. I’d be fan. They really looked good together,” katwiran ni Derek.
Teka, may impluwensya ba si John sa napipintong paglipat niya sa GMA?
“John speaks highly of them. He did play a factor I entertained the offer. John has nothing but nice words about GMA. Wala siyang angal, wala siyang complaint. He’s treated with respect and that’s all naman eh. When I met them in flesh, I felt the sincerity and respect!” deklara pa ni Derek.
