Pinay cue artists babanderahan ni Amit sa YWW 10-Ball C'ships

Manila, Philippines -  Matutunghayan uli sa Pilipinas ang tagisan ng mga mahuhusay na lady pool players matapos ianunsyo ng Dragon Promotions ang pagsasagawa ng 2012 Yalin Women’s World 10-ball Championship sa Robinson’s Galleria.

May 48 pinakamahu­hu­say na bilyaristang ka­babaihan ang sasali sa kompetisyong tatakbo mula Agosto 20 hanggang 24.

“I personally really look forward to this event every year. The atmosphere is electric and the pressure in incredible on these fine ladies. They fight tooth and nail from the round robin stage until the single elimination rounds,” wika ni Charlie Williams, isa sa mga mahuhusay na pool player sa kalalakihan na siyang may-ari ng Dragon Promotions.

Tutulong uli ang ABS-CBN Sports bukod pa sa Robinson’s Galleria, Ara­mith Balls, Magic 89.9 at Crown Plaza Galleria Ortigas.        

Ang pambato ng Pilipinas sa women’s billiards na si Rubilen Amit na hinirang din kampeon ng torneo, ang babandera sa laban ng host country kontra sa iba pang bigatin tulad nina defending champion Kelly Fisher ng United Kingdom, Jasmin Ouschan ng Austria at 6-time US Open 9-Ball champion Allison Fisher.

“Our continuing partnership with Dragon Promotions has made this event such a huge success and created additional stardom for now world champions Kelly Fisher, Jasmin Ouschan and Rubilen Amit. With 10-ball being the most skillful game, we fell the Yalin Women’s World Championship is the greatest tournament in the world to win,” wika ni Eric Ding na pangulo ng Yalin Billiard Goods Corporation.

Magkakaroon muna ng qualifying round mula Agosto 18 hanggang 19 sa Star Billiards Manila na magdedetermina kung sino pa ang kukumpleto sa mga maglalaro sa group elimination.
