French-Filipino luxury brand Jewelmer Joaillerie recently showcased its Spring/Summer 2017 Collection at a private gathering held at its new boutique in Shangri-La at the Fort, Taguig City.

Jewelmer EVP and deputy CEO Jacques Christophe Branellec, brand manager Gaelle Branellec and executive marketing manager Tricie Legarda welcomed the jewelry-loving guests, who were treated to an exclusive look not just at the latest collection, but also at the couture collection of distinguished fashion designer Joey Samson.

Long-time Jewelmer patrons like Gretchen Barretto and Salome Uy were in awe of the soft, feminine silhouettes of Joey’s creations, which were accented by the brand’s signature golden South Sea pearls, set in unique and playful forms — from whimsical birds to the flowers of the tropics.

Congratulations to the Jewelmer team for this successful event!

Light & hope

The Bellevue Hotels and Resorts (BH&R) has partnered with multi-awarded furniture designer Kenneth Cobonpue and Habitat for Humanity Philippines (HFHP) to support the renowned designer’s First Light project.

First Light centerpieces are special edition lamps designed as delicate houses and sculpted in steel and wire. The sculptural lamps come in a set of three, with each lamp able to hold one tealight candle.

Present during the launch held at The Bellevue Manila’s Tower Wing Lobby were BH&R top executives chairman Johnny Chan, The Bellevue Manila managing director Patrick Chan and B Hotels managing director Ryan Chan, HFHP ambassador Kenneth Cobonpue as well as HFHP leaders including managing director and CEO Charlie Ayco, national board of trustees vice president architect Bong Recio and chief marketing officer Yvonne Lih.

All proceeds generated from the sale of First Light lamps will go to HFHP’s project of rebuilding houses for the families affected by typhoon Yolanda.

Congratulations to The Bellevue Hotels and Resorts, Kenneth Cobonpue and Habitat for Humanity Philippines for this noteworthy endeavor!
