MANILA, Philippines — As a precaution against falling debris in Northern Luzon, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) issued temporary maritime safety restrictions yesterday.
In a public advisory, the PCG said that China is set to launch its Long March 7A rocket from Wenchang in Hainan between 6:32 a.m. and 7:14 a.m. (Philippine time) on Wednesday.
The PCG said the restrictions are meant to warn fisherfolk, vessel crew and other maritime stakeholders to avoid the designated drop zones in Northern Luzon.
