2 killed in Sultan Kudarat ambush

COTABATO CITY, Philippines — Two motorists were killed in another ambush in Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat on Monday.

The killing of Reymar Pedroso and Glenn Rabut occurred barely four days after two siblings were killed in a similar attack that occurred in the same municipality.

The victims were on a motorcycle when a group of men attacked them in Purok Patambeg in Barangay Zeneben.

The gunmen had escaped before responding barangay officials and watchmen arrived at the scene of the ambush.

On Friday, Arnel Anas and his brother, Joemar, were on a motorcycle when they were ambushed by gunmen in the same area.

The brothers died from gunshot wounds in different parts of their bodies.
