Isabela bettor wins P5.9 million lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines — A bettor in Tumauini, Isabela won the jackpot in the 6/42 Regular Regular Lotto drawn on Thursday night.

The bettor guessed the winning combination 02-27-16-29-04-19, which had a jackpot of P5.94 million, Melquiades Robles, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office

Eighty-one other bettors who hit five of the winning numbers won P24,000 each.

The Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law imposes a 20 percent tax on lotto winnings above P10,000.

The 6/42 Regular Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
