2 electrocuted in Quezon

MANILA, Philippines — A 75-year-old man and his nephew were electrocuted in Barangay Sta. Rosa in Mulanay, Quezon on Wednesday.

The bodies of Fabian Bia and Sherwin Mediavilla were found near a hanging electrical wire, according to Capt. Joseph Ian Java, Mulanay police chief.

Reports said Bia’s other nephew Reymark Mediavilla searched for the victims when they failed to return after they left home to harvest vegetables in the mountain.

Police said the victims could have touched a high-tension wire while walking in the forest.
