Cebu bettor wins P239.2 million lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines — After four months without a winner, a bettor in Cebu City hit the jackpot of the 6/55 Grand Lotto on Monday night.

The bettor guessed the winning combination 17-07-38-08-05-10, which had a total jackpot of P239,204,944.

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office said the winning ticket was bought from a lotto outlet at SM City Cebu. The same outlet reportedly sold a ticket that won P12 million in 2012.

Thirty-five other bettors won P46,400 for hitting five of the winning numbers.

The jackpot of the 6/55 Grand Lotto was last won in September by a bettor in Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo. The jackpot was P53.4 million. 

The Grand Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
