Judge Minerva Genovea, 62

Judge Minerva Castillo-Genovea, wife of Miguel Genovea Sr., a veteran journalist and senior media adviser of Speaker Jose de Venecia, died this morning of heart failure at the National Kidney & Transplant Institute. She was 62 years old.

Judge Genovea is survived by her husband, Miguel Sr., and children, Miguel Jr., Cristina Regina, Claro Victor, Maripaz Minerva and Ma. Del Cielo and five grandchildren.

Her body lies in state at the Funeraria Nacional along Araneta Avenue. Interment will be on Tuesday, at the Himlayang Pilipino in Tandang Sora, Quezon City.
