Australian runs amuck on airplane

MANILA, Philippines - An Australian man reportedly ran amuck on board a Qantas Airlines flight bound for Manila Thursday afternoon.

Mamudu Kamara tried to enter the cockpit after flight attendants failed to fix a faulty television monitor in front of his seat, according to airport police officer Felindo Navarro, who responded to a call by Australian federal agent Jane Dickenson.

Dickenson called the Philippine National Police-Aviation Security Group at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1, requesting for assistance regarding an unruly male passenger on board the flight.

Upon finding the cockpit door locked, Kamara banged on it until four federal air marshals handcuffed him.

The marshals escorted Kamara on a Qantas flight back to Sydney.
