Century Properties bets on luxury homes in Cavite

MANILA, Philippines — The Antonio family’s Century Properties Group Inc. (CPG) has started pitching its new project in Cavite to potential buyers, as it opened a show village for its P5.6-billion premium housing.
In a disclosure before the Philippine Stock Exchange, CPG said it has kicked off its push to dive deeper into Southern Tagalog by opening the show village for its Cavite project.
The show village for the 25-hectare, 1,100-home Cerulean Residences allows prospective buyers to check the amenities and build of CPG’s premium units.
CPG managing director Carlo Antonio said the developer is pushing deeper into the south given the infrastructure blitz in Southern Tagalog.
Cerulean is located close to the recently-opened exit in Governor’s Drive of the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX).
Antonio said access to Cerulean would also be easier once CALAX is tied to the Manila-Cavite Expressway via Kawit. The project also sits near economic hubs, such as Gateway Business Park and the New Cavite Industrial City.
Antonio also described Cerulean, situated in General Trias, as CPG’s balancing act in Cavite, as it caters to high-income buyers, while PHirst Park Homes offers affordable housing.
“By balancing our PHirst and premium residential segments, we are able to sustain growth while expanding our footprint,” Antonio said.
“General Trias is a location that the market has already chosen, (but) what has been missing there is premium residential supply that matches the profile of the people already living and working in the corridor,” he said.
Cerulean promises resort-style living, but on a horizontal design. It takes inspiration from CPG’s award-winning developments like Azure Urban Resort Residences in Parañaque and Acqua Private Residences in Mandaluyong.
The homes are designed in modern, minimalist layouts made for growing families. It also comes with fences, a gate and a two-car garage with charger provisions for electric vehicles.
Antonio said future residents of Cerulean could expect a community surrounded with active zones, green spaces and water attractions.
“Our premium segment has always been built on differentiation rather than volume alone, (and) we are creating more than just houses, we are giving families the opportunity to truly move up,” Antonio said.
