#RiseupTogether: Colorful moments at Metro Manila Pride March 2018

MANILA, Philippines —Bad weather did not stop thousands of members and supporters of the Filipino lesbian gay, bisexual, and transgender community from celebrating the annual Metro Manila “Pride March” last Saturday

The 2018 Pride March, themed “Rise Up Together”, was held at the Marikina Sports Complex in Marikina City.

The march seeks to empower the LGBT community and create a safe space for its members that includes gender equality and same-sex marriage.

One of the organizers of the march told Philstar.com that the annual celebration drew around 20,000 to 25,000 crowd this year.
