Rody kin named Nayong Pilipino exec director
DAVAO CITY , Philippines — A relative of President Duterte has been appointed as executive director of the Nayong Pilipino entertainment park in Parañaque City.
Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea informed Maria Fema Duterte in a letter last Dec. 7 that Duterte has approved her nomination as executive director of Nayong Pilipino Foundation Inc.
It was also on Dec. 7 that the President confirmed her appointment as member of the Board of Trustees to the foundation.
Nayong Pilipino is a 32-acre theme park around a 10-minute drive from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). It features scaled-down replicas of the country’s top tourist destinations such as the Mayon volcano, Banaue rice terraces and Bohol’s chocolate hills.
Maria Fema has long been a supporter of the President. She also ran but lost for board member of Cebu province in the last elections.
