Sotto to vote for Grace-Gringo
MANILA, Philippines - Re-electionist Sen. Vicente "Tito" Sotto III on Friday revealed that he is going to vote for Sen. Grace Poe despite being a part of the senatorial slate of Vice President Jejomar Binay's United Nationalist Alliance.
According to a report, Sotto also said that he will vote for Sen. Gregorio "Gringo" Honasan II for vice president but will still help Sen. Francis "Chiz" Escudero for his vice presidential bid.
Sotto added that he has no arrangements to campaign with Binay but will campaign with Honasan, the vice president's running mate.
The Nationalist People's Coalition has not yet decided on who to support for president but Sotto has decided to vote for Poe.
Sotto is also a part of the senatorial line-up of Poe and Escudero's Partido Galing at Puso.
The re-electionist senator topped the latest Pulse Asia senatorial survey with 68.8 percent. - Patricia Lourdes Viray
