Vic Sotto, Coney Reyes back son Vico's reelection bid
MANILA, Philippines — Comedian Vic Sotto and actress Coney Reyes showed support for their son Vico by accompanying him in filing his certificate of candidacy (COC) for reelection as Pasig mayor today.
In a video posted by ABS-CBN News reporter Kat Domingo, Vic was seen arriving at the Pasic Comelec office to support his son.
“Actor Vic Sotto arrives at the Pasig Comelec office to support his son Pasig City Mayor @VicoSotto who will be filing his certificate of candidacy today,” Kat wrote.
Vic said in the video that he is proud of his son and he knows that Vico will do more in Pasig.

"Siyempre very proud dahil nakita kong maganda ang ginagawa niya at alam ko marami pa siyang magandang gagawin," he said.
Vico is seeking reelection with former Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player Robert "Dodot" Jaworski Jr. as his vice mayor. Dodot is the son of PBA living legend Robert "Sonny" Jaworski.
The incumbent mayor ended decades of Eusebio leadership in Pasig in 2019.
