Ex-actress, Phillip Salvador’s sister reportedly arrested for drugs

MANILA, Philippines — Former actress and action star Phillip Salvador’s sister Deborah Sun was reportedly arrested by the Quezon City Police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in a drug buy-bust operation in a condominium in Cubao, Quezon City on Sunday. 

Quezon City Police said Deborah, whose real name is Jean Louise Salvador, was arrested along with Angela Salvador, Gerald de Guzman and Gonzalo Gonzales.

The arrest was held at De Guzman’s condominium unit in Barangay E. Rodriguez around 1:30 a.m. after police received a report that there is illegal drug activity taking place in the condo unit.

Reports said that police recovered seven sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P6,800, drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.

The suspects denied they were using illegal drugs despite testing positive for drug use.

The suspects will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Deborah was an actress known for her roles in the movies “Pasan Ko Ang Daigdig," “Temptation Island” and "Pakawalan Mo Ako.”
