WATCH: Edward Barber supports Maymay Entrata on ‘Darna’ decision
MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actor Edward Barber assured on-screen partner Maymay Entrata that he will support her decision on the Darna role that is up for grabs.
In a recent press conference of his new fantaserye “Hiwaga ng Kambat” with Maymay, Edward said he will always support his MayWard love team partner.
“I know for a fact that Maymay woudn't be comfortable (to be Darna). That's always her decision. I mean, whatever she wants to do, I’m full support behind her,” Edward told Philstar.com.

Their new fantaserye with Grae Fernandez piloted last April 21 with a national TV rating of 24.4 percent, compared to its rival show, according to data from Kantar Media. It once again won its timeslot last April 28 with 22.7 percent, compared to 14 percent of its rival show.
Edward and Grae bring to life the magical story of twins whose lives are separated by a curse and are destined to be mortal enemies in the newest Kapamilya fantaserye “Hiwaga ng Kambat,” which airs Sunday nights on ABS-CBN.
Twins Iking (Edward) and Mateo (Grae) have always been polar opposites. Iking was born with features that resemble a bat, while Mateo grows up to be conceited because of his good looks and luxurious lifestyle. Their contrasting personalities will make them bitter rivals, as Mateo constantly humiliates Iking in front of everyone at school for his distinct qualities.
