Beat the super cool 'Stranger Things' retro game to unlock a new clip

MANILA, Philippines — Netflix released an obsessively delightful "Stranger Things" mobile game this week that evokes 90s video games nostalgia—and it can be downloaded for free.

"Stranger Things: The Game" was released to promote the upcoming Season 2 of the hit thriller, which will premiere on October 27.

The show, set in the early '80s, is about the adventure of four boys in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana who uncovered a secret government experiment involving a telekinetic girl and the alternate world of Upside Down.

Users must solve each chapter of the game with the help of the unique abilities of each character they enlist in the adventure.

To those wondering, here's a peek at how to navigate your way through Chapter 1 of the game:

Once you beat the game, you are treated to a short clip introducing Max, the new addition to the show.
