Jessy Mendiola: Hindi naman nawawala ang pag-ibig

Joyce Jimenez - Philstar.com

MANILA, Philippines – Jessy Mendiola remains quiet about her personal life amid rumors that she has broken up with JM De Guzman.

“Ang pag-ibig, laging present ang pag-ibig. ‘Di naman nawawala ang pag-ibig, andyan lang ‘yan,” replied Jessy when asked indirectly about her relationship with JM during the press conference of her upcoming TV series “You’re My Home” on Wednesday.

“Andyan nga lang ‘yon sa paligid, nasa tabi-tabi lang. So ‘wag na lang natin masyado pag-usapan,” she added.

Recently, the Kapamilya actress has been the talk of the town after an airplane incident with Enrique Gil that happened in September.

Following the incident are reports that she and JM has called it quits.

Asked how she was doing, Jessy candidly answered: “Okay naman po, humahaba na ang buhok ko. Tapos eere na ‘yong soap namin. Okay naman po, masaya, blessed.”

Some assumed that the recent controversies in her life has helped motivate her in doing her heavy dramatic scenes for the show, which are shown in the trailer.

Jessy explained that “istorya pa lang nito hindi ko na kailangan humugot kasi mapagmahal ako sa pamilya ko. So madali lang humugot kapag tugkol sa pamilya, e, kasi mahal na mahal ko ang pamilya ko.”

“You’re My Home” also stars Dawn Zulueta, Richard Gomez, JC de Vera, Sam Concepcion and Paul Salas and will air on November 9.
