WATCH: Pinoy contestant in top 7 of 'X Factor Australia'

MANILA, Philippines — Filipino contestant Cyrus Villanueva moves forward in “X Factor Australia.”

The 19-year-old performer was able to secure the seventh spot in the competition during the rock-themed episode on Tuesday (Philippine time).

Mentored by Chris Isaak, Cyrus performed the song “It Ain’t Over ‘Til It’s Over” by Lenny Kravitz.

While he was able to secure a spot, not all the judges were impressed by his performance.

Aside from Cyrus, a Filipina group 4th Power is making waves in “X Factor UK.” — Joyce Jimenez
