Vice Ganda mum on reported Vhong-Cedric chance encounter

Chuck Smith - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines – Vice Ganda neither confirmed nor denied reports that his “It's Showtime” co-host Vhong Navarro chanced upon businessman Cedric Lee at a nightclub in Taguig City over the weekend.

According to reports, the two had a chance encounter at the newly-opened Valkyrie Nightclub at the Bonifacio High Street in Taguig City.

Vice, who was reportedly at the club during the reported incident, refused to comment on the issue.

“Ay, ayokong magkwento ng ganyan, mapapagalitan ako. Ayokong magshare. Pasensiya na,” he said at the sidelines of the 28th PMPC Star Awards for Television on Sunday.

Reports about the said encounter surfaced when gossip blog Fashio Pulis posted a screengrab of the Manila Secret public chat group from an online messaging service that described the alleged meeting.

According to reports, Tony Calvento also confirmed Vhong and Cedric's encounter at the Taguig night club and said the ABS-CBN artist left the establishment with his “It's Showtime” group.

“To avoid any untoward incident, Vhong and the rest of the Showtime group decided to leave the place. Cedric did not talk to Vhong nor whisper anything to his ears as gossips have it. Vice escorted Vhong to his car and the rest of the group. Vhong was with some security men. Vhong did not know anything more about what happened after they left," Calvento said on his Facebook account.

Cedric, along with Simeon Raz and Deniece Cornejo, were temporarily released from detention after posting a P500,000 bail for the serious illegal detention case filed against them by Vhong.
