September rocks at The Grills

MANILA, Philippines - This month, your Wednesday nights do not have to be typical. Instead, why not make them a rocking good time as The Grills in South Station, Alabang, Muntinlupa City holds another installment of its Rock Fest. Get ready for a month of great music and even greater times.

Greyhoundz performs on Sept. 11. The rap-metal band was formed in 1997 and is composed of Reg Rubio (vocals), Audie Avenido (guitars), Niño Avenido (bass) and TJ Brillantes (drums). They are the group behind the hits Your Puppet and Clown, Doble Kara and Shoot to Kill. Their song Even was included in the Asian edition bonus tracks of the offical soundtrack of the blockbuster movie Spider-Man in 2002.

The Mocha Girls heat up your night on Sept. 18. The group is composed of Mocha Uson, Mae dela Cerna, Francoise Fainsan, Yumi Ociman and Georgina Knight. They are known as the Hottest All-Female Sing and Dance Group in the Philippines.

Hilera performs with Soapdish on Sept. 25. The group  is composed of brothers Chris (vocals and guitar) and Bobby Padilla (drums) with their friend Ivan Garcia (bass). The band’s distinctive sound mixes rock, punk and rockabilly. Meanwhile, Soapdish was formed in Quezon City in 2001 and is composed of Jeff Bolivar (lead vocals), Pei Signey (guitars), Cesar Bendoy (bass) and Oliver Estacion (drums). They are the band behind the hits Ewan Ko, Pwede Ba and Tensionado.
