A MYX of showbiz royalties and network stars

Held last Tuesday night at the Music Museum, the I Love Myx Music Awards Night drew stars from all networks — Kapamilya, Kapuso, Kapatid and even from its rival network MTV, the MYX Channel headed by Andre Allan Alvarez.

Congratulations to Star Records’ Yeng Constantino, top female awardee, for bagging the most number of awards (Favorite Music Video and Favorite Song for Jeepney Love Story, Favorite Female Artist, Favorite MYX Celebrity VJ, Favorite Collaboration award with 6Cyclemind and Kean Cipriano for the song Kung Wala Ka Na).

Asiansation Universal Records artist Christian Bautista won two major awards, Best Remake for the Music Video Beautiful Girl and Best Mellow Music Video I Remember the Girl.

One of the highlights was a special tribute to Regine Velasquez as this year’s Magna Awardee. The tribute featured Frencheska Farr, Kayla, Mark Bautista, Rachelle Ann Go, Ogie Alcasid with Christian and Yeng.

Also present were Zia Quizon, Karylle, Isabella Gonzalez, Elmo Magalona, Chino Lui Pio, hosts Luis Manzano and Robin Nievera. Other performers were Sam Concepcion, The CompanY, Sitti, Nikki Gil, Opera Bells and Kamikazee.
