MANILA, Philippines - Claudine Barretto (photo) adds color and excitement to the plot of GMA 7’s Bantatay.

Claudine is Sheila, a compassionate veterinarian, who crosses paths with Bantay. She reportedly agreed to the role in an instant as aside from having to portray such an endearing character, it also allows her to work closely with her husband Raymart Santiago (left), one of the show’s lead actors.

It can be recalled that Raymart was Claudine’s first guest in her former self-titled drama anthology on GMA 7, and now, it’s the actress’ turn to return the favor to her husband.

Bantatay airs before 24 Oras.
