TELUS named BPO Employer of the Year

MANILA, Philippines - True to its reputation as a premier employer in the Philippines customer service industry, TELUS International Phils. was named the BPO Employer of the Year during the fourth International ICT Awards held at the Grand Ballroom of Dusit Hotel in Makati City recently. 

The annual International ICT awards recognizes top organizations and individuals in the local business process outsourcing (BPO) industry who contribute to the country’s international recognition and global competitiveness.

In presenting the award, judges noted TELUS International’s significant investment in human resources, retention of world-class talent, innovative career paths for its team members including continuous training and development, and its commitment to corporate social responsibility.

“The BPO Employer of the Year Award is a testament to the hard work we have done to offer our team members a great place to work, gain skills, and build a career,” said Cris Rosenthal, TELUS International Phils. vice president for human resources.

TELUS International is a subsidiary of Canadian telecommunications company TELUS Corp. It provides contact center and business process services to some of the world’s largest IT, telecommunications, consumer electronics, financial services, energy, and utilities corporations.

“Our most important asset is our people and we need to provide them a place to develop both professionally and personally.
