Samsung Omnia available under Smart Gold

Smart Communications Inc. becomes the first to make available to its postpaid subscribers the Samsung Omnia, one of the year’s most anticipated models in the mobile handset market.

“To truly maximize the power of advanced, all-in-one devices, they need to be powered by innovative operator technologies — offering the Samsung Omnia through Smart Gold is a natural fit,” says Danilo Mojica, head of Smart’s wireless consumer division.

Samsung Omnia will be offered through all Smart Gold plans for both new and existing subscribers.

Widely anticipated within the highly competitive Philippine mobile handset market since its launch at CommunicAsia 2008 in June in Singapore, the Samsung Omnia features high-performance business applications and top-of-the-range multimedia specifications.

The seamless marriage of form and function in one handset makes the Samsung Omnia appealing to both tech enthusiasts and stylish trendsetters.

Smart Gold subscribers also enjoy high-speed mobile Internet and other state-of-the-art services via 3G and HSDPA, and advanced mobile commerce tools, among others.
