‘Lifestyle medicine’ offered

Here’s good news for those who want to stay healthy! The Manila Adventist Medical Center (formerly Manila Sanitarium and Hospital) — Angelo King Health and Wellness Center recently launched its Lifestyle Medicine Program to help people reverse lifestyle diseases like arthritis, cancer, diabetes, hypertension and heart disease, and provide total health and wellness to all.

The stay-in program which you can avail yourself of in special discounted package rates of one, two or three nights is scientifically designed to change your life for the healthier and is tailored to fit your specific medical and personal needs.

Aside from availing yourself of the usual health screening tests and procedures, the center has a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who will educate you on weight management, strength and body building, fitness and aerobics, stress and burnout management, therapeutic massage and hydrotherapy, diet therapy, laughter therapy, and sports medicine, among others.

The Lifestyle Medicine Program also includes a one-year follow-up phase with bi-monthly meetings to check your progress and reinforce your newly acquired healthy habits.
