Patrimonios back NSJBI's sports and family-centered developments

-

MANILA, Philippines – Give your family’s health a sporting chance with dwellings that promote wellness.

New San Jose Builders Inc. (NSJBI), the leader in the affordable housing bracket, believes in providing Filipino families with residential developments that encourage active lifestyles.

The company recently presented to the public its first set of condominiums that also host sports complexes. Victoria Station 2 along EDSA in Quezon City and Victoria de Manila 2 at Taft Avenue, Manila have an array of sports facilities -- badminton, squash and basketball courts, a multi-purpose hall, jogging trail, six lane bowling alley, billiard tables, a spa and an impressive Olympic-size swimming pool.

“NSJBI gives families and, by extension, whole communities, the opportunity to really engage in sports. Too often, urbanites don’t get to exercise because they either lack the resources to have a gym membership or there are not enough open spaces or facilities where they live,” according to legendary basketball player Alvin Patrimonio. “That’s why my daughters and I are happy to be the endorsers of these family and sports centered projects.”

Alvin’s two daughters, Clarice and Christine, are also athletes. Both have competed in international tennis tournaments. Clarice, the younger of the two, is currently the country’s number one tennis player in the women’s division.

According to Patrimonio, family sports are a great way to spend time together. Not only does it open possibilities for teaching children about fair play, it also has numerous health benefits as well. He pointed out three key areas where sports can contribute to wellness: weight management, disease prevention and sleep promotion.

“An hour of basketball can burn approximately 320 calories while an hour of swimming can burn around 493 calories. In addition, exercise can help boost your immune system by facilitating the production and circulation of macrophages which attack bacteria in the body,” explains Patrimonio. “Exercise can also help you sleep better because it releases endorphins into your system, helping you relax. Getting a full night’s rest is essential to having high energy and a stabilized mood throughout the day.”

Convenience you can count on

“Victoria de Manila 2 is a value-laden project, a rarity in the affordable housing bracket. Prospective homeowners will be delighted to find that a unit at Victoria de Manila 2 comes within a friendly price range and flexible terms,” says Manny Estrella, sales head of Victoria de Manila 1 and 2.

“The affordability of the units plus the convenience of having shopping centers, hospitals as well as churches right at its doorstep make it ideal for growing families as well as young couples,” Estrella says. Victoria de Manila 2 is a walk away from Robinson’s Place Ermita, the Philippine General Hospital and from the Pedro Gil station of the LRT. It is also a 20-minute ride from Makati’s Central Business District.

The project’s proximity to the nation’s top schools and universities also make it a perfect dwelling for students. The Philippine Women’s University (PWU), the Manila campus of the University of the Philippines as well as the Philippine Christian University, are just short walks away from Victoria de Manila. A five to ten minute ride from Victoria de Manila will take you to schools located at the University Belt at Recto as well as De La Salle University.

For its part, Victoria Station 2 offers its residents a stress-free commute each day. Located right beside GMA network center along EDSA in Quezon City, residents of Victoria Station 1 and 2 will be able to enjoy unencumbered access to the Kamuning MRT station.

“We provide quality homes for the modern Filipino Family – that family that’s always on the go and who appreciate quality, convenience and a healthy community,” says Hazel de Dios, sales head of Victoria Station 2.

Both developments have multi-level parking, function rooms and child-friendly spaces. For more information, please call 5279614 and 5279679 or 4154053 and 4161389 to reach the sales offices of Victoria de Manila 2 and Victoria Station 2, respectively. You can also log on to www.nsjbi.net.
