Vista Land bags best SAP award

MANILA, Philippines - Vista Land and Lifescapes, Inc., the country’s largest home builder, recently received an award for Best SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Implementation together with its partner, Supply Chain Consulting, a Fujitsu company, during the SAP World Tour 2009 held at the Crowne Plaza in Ortigas. The award was given in recognition of the excellent standards achieved by both companies throughout the process of identifying, implementing, and sustaining customized business solutions for Vista Land. ERP is an application from SAP designed to improve operational efficiency and business process productivity.

Present during the awarding ceremony were Vista Land’s CEO, Benjamarie Serrano, Paolo Villar, the company’s chief financial officer, and Rose Estampador, chief technology officer. “We are extremely pleased to have been recognized for our efforts in ensuring that Vista Land remains at the forefront of technology,” said Serrano. “We acknowledge the expertise provided by Supply Chain Consulting in this endeavor and we look forward to further strengthening our partnership with them in the future.”

Several criteria were adopted in determining winners for the SAP award including project innovation measured by comprehensiveness of implementation, project duration and cost, process and delivery of implementation, project related escalations, customer satisfaction and reference, implementation on time and within budget, and project contribution to the customer’s business.

Vista Land is the country’s leader in housing and is listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange. It carries three brands – Brittany, Crown Asia, and Camella – which cover practically all price segments in housing as well as in condominium developments. The company has built over 200,000 houses since its inception and has the widest geographic presence in the Philippines among all major property developers.
