GoCommerce on turning brands into eChampions
GoCommerce has world-class fulfillment centers distributed in strategic locations that enable up to same-day delivery in more and more areas around the country.

As more Filipinos turn to online shopping for safety and savings due to the pandemic, some companies are quick to adapt and revisit how they sell and market online. Many businesses could not move fast enough to make the shift from offline to online.

Seeing the need and having gone through the same challenges, GoCommerce has made it their mission to help businesses to grow and dominate the e-commerce space. Marketing and selling in e-commerce is not as easy as most people think. There’s a lot of science that works behind it — from targeting the right customers to crunching data and giving customers the best online shopping experience.

“When almost all businesses were asked to close because of the pandemic, we found a purpose. We wanted to help brands not just to survive but to thrive during the pandemic and beyond,” shared GoCommerce CEO and co-founder Ryan Tan. He describes GoCommerce as an “eCommerce Enabler, helping brands to maximize their sales potential online.” They are an end-to-end eCommerce growth partner, be it for giant multinationals to SME sellers.

“The nature of eCommerce today is omnichannel, which means being present in all channels relevant to the target customer. Brands should be able to capture the customer’s attention when they need them and where they need them. That said, going omnichannel fast can be very overwhelming and this is what we do best and what we make easy for many brands,” said Tan.

Using the latest omnichannel technology, GoCommerce is able to maximize the sales potential of brands in all marketplaces such as Lazada, social networking sites and in a brand’s own webstore.

Apart from growing sales in platforms such as Shopee, Lazada and Zalora, GoCommerce is also giving more focus in optimizing social selling platforms such as Facebook, Tiktok and Instagram — and in a brand’s own website to further boost sales.

From enticing the customers online to door-to-door delivery and ensuring customer satisfaction, GoCommerce offers businesses an end-to-end solution. They have world-class fulfillment centers distributed in strategic locations that enable up to same-day delivery in more and more areas around the country. GoCommerce is trusted by brands such as Anker, Unilever, Klean Kanteen, Garmin, Nutriasia, Kyowa and more. Many of their partners are now market leaders in their respective categories online.

“Beyond big brands, what we want to do is to create tech-enabled solutions for SME’s to enable them to scale faster online,” said Tan. GoCommerce is creating an automated order fulfillment solution for SME’s to help grow their sales nationwide.

“Many online businesses were born during the pandemic with the potential to be disruptors of the market. We want to help them reach their full potential with affordable and modern fulfillment solutions,” said Mark Tan, CFO and co-founder.

GoCommerce believes that businesses, whether big or small, should not be worrying about the complexities of doing eCommerce — from marketplace design and management, to inventory monitoring, and shipment. Instead, they enable their brand partners to focus on building better brands and making better products. “Imagine a world where SME’s can have the capabilities of big businesses. They can focus delighting their customers by creating better products and we’ll handle the rest,” shared Neil Tan, COO and co-founder of GoCommerce.

Additionally, one of the goals of GoCommerce is to reduce shipping time and shipping fees for customers outside of Metro Manila by building fulfillment centers closer to customers in the provinces. “People living outside of Mega Manila are subject to higher shipping fees and longer waiting time, which leads to people buying less. This is why we are building fulfillment centers in strategic locations around the country,” Mark pointed out.

“We want to help brands to thrive, not just survive, and help them gain a stronger position in the next normal,” shared Ryan.

GoCommerce was recently named a 3-Star Partner by Lazada, the highest certification given by Lazada to their partner-enablers in Southeast Asia. Likewise, Shopee awarded GoComerce as a Shoppe Premium Enabler, the highest distinction they give to their partners in the region. These recognitions from both marketplaces are given to enablers, such as GoCommerce, for meeting the highest standards of eCommerce management, operational excellence, and order fulfillment metrics.

With their experience and proven track record, GoCommerce is living up to its promise of turning brands into eChampions.

“The pandemic has dampened prospects for many. GoCommerce aims to be a spark that hopefully inspires SMEs and budding entrepreneurs to think that it’s possible to thrive in the pandemic and the next normal,” shared Ryan.
