DigiPlus joins Brazil’s IBJR

MANILA, Philippines — DigiPlus Interactive Corp. is reinforcing its international presence by joining a regulated betting industry group in Brazil.
DigiPlus has become a member of the Brazilian Institute of Responsible Gaming (IBJR), a group composed of members representing more than 60 percent of Brazil’s regulated betting market.
The company’s inclusion in IBJR bolsters its commitment to regulation and its efforts to combat illegal gaming operations.
“Joining the IBJR reflects DigiPlus’ expansion in Brazil, where we already operate the BingoPlus brand and continue to invest in growing our presence in the country,” Graham Tidey, managing director of DigiPlus in Brazil, said.
“Bringing over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry, we pioneered digital entertainment in the Philippines and are committed to replicating this success in the Brazilian market in a responsible manner and in full compliance with regulatory requirements,” Tidey said.
Founded in 2023, IBJR brings together the main betting companies in Brazil with the mission of building a sustainable and responsible online betting ecosystem.
The addition of DigiPlus in IBJR strengthens the group’s efforts around responsible practices.
DigiPlus, a digital entertainment provider behind BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone, continues to expand its digital entertainment ecosystem both locally and abroad.
It also continues to enhance its in-app responsible gaming tools and strengthen its 24/7 customer care capabilities.
DigiPlus made its first international foray into Brazil, a market that represents a significant growth opportunity, with a population exceeding 200 million and strong enthusiasm for sports betting.
In October last year, DigiPlus announced a strategic pause on its first Brazilian brand following the soft launch on Sept. 22, 2025.
The temporary pause was seen as a strategic step for the company to return with a stronger digital entertainment offering
