Converge expands digital solutions

MANILA, Philippines — Converge ICT Solutions Inc. continues to expand its digital solutions offering in line with efforts to become more than just an internet service provider.

Converge said it has teamed up with software-as-a-service company SweldoMo to provide businesses with reliable and efficient digital solutions.

With the partnership, SweldoMo will be part of Converge Workplace, which aims to provide automated solutions to make managing businesses easier and more efficient.

Converge said more solutions aside from SweldoMo would be launched in the future under Converge Workplace to provide convenient technology tools to SMEs and large enterprises.

“Converge continues to become more than just an internet service provider, by giving opportunities for growth to businesses with our digital solutions,” Converge chief operating officer Jesus Romero said.

SweldoMo, under Converge Workplace solutions, is an automated payroll and HR management system that takes care of HR, timekeeping and payroll processes.

It is a cloud service that is accessible through any device, anytime and anywhere.

“This partnership has a common goal to make managing business more convenient to maximize growth and efficiency,” Romero said.

Converge Workplace SweldoMo envisions businesses to be a modern workplace, by shifting to fully automated processes from the usual manual procedures.

A modern workplace enables employers and employees to do almost everything virtually, from the hiring to retiring process.

Converge said the technological solution, which works as an “HR in your pocket” for all sizes of businesses, is scalable and cost effective so it can adapt with businesses as their organization expands.

“We want businesses to grow without worrying too much about their expansion costs. With the help of Converge Workplace SweldoMo, organizations can increase their employee headcount to maximize efficiency, without allocating too much cost on HR management,” Romero said.

Converge said the system is deemed compliant with government regulations, particularly with the Department of Labor and Employment and the Data Privacy Act.

It said SweldoMo has a dedicated team monitoring all government regulations to make sure that the system is adjusted accordingly with recent state mandates.

SweldoMo has also secured a compliance certificate from the National Privacy Commission, to make sure that all data stored and collected are safe.
