MANILA, Philippines — AirAsia Philippines has teamed up with local hotels to offer attractive flight and hotel deals as part of the carrier’s continuing efforts to boost domestic tourism.

“We are pleased to launch SNAP in the Philippines to be able to provide new and affordable offerings on airasia.com, especially for business travelers and those planning for their future getaways once leisure travel is permitted,” AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla said.

SNAP is a new flight and hotel combo platform on airasia.com which offers convenient fly and stay packages at attractive prices.

“Aside from developing airasia.com as Asia’s fastest-growing super app, this initiative has opened up opportunities to work with partner hotels, as we start to recover from the effects of the pandemic which have devastated the travel and tourism industry. We look forward to forming more partnerships with more hotels in the future,” Isla said.

AirAsia is offering an introductory SNAP promotion of up to 50 percent off on flights when guests book a flight+hotel via SNAP.

The special promotional fare is available on airasia.com from Sept. 21 to 27, for travel from Sept. 21 to March 25, 2021.

AirAsia Philippines has been offering its customers deals that aim to re-energize air travel demand and help in the country’s economic recovery.

The low-cost carrier recently offered an exclusive buy one take one promo on all domestic and international flights for a limited time.

Isla earlier said the airline was prepared to increase flight frequencies, launch new destinations, while utilizing all four hubs flying to both domestic and international destinations once travel restrictions further ease.
