Experts to speak at WTC on riding business trends

Experts from various business sectors are poised to help the local industry face the challenges of today’s emerging global economic order.

These experts are scheduled to conduct free seminars at the World Trade Center Metro Manila during the staging of "Corporate Giveaways 2002," an international product exhibition that will be held from July 3 to 6.

The seminars, set on July 4-6, will highlight the emergence of new products for corporate giveaways, giving companies more and wider avenues in promoting their businesses.

Seminar topic for July 4 is the "Electronification of Corporate Management" to be discussed by Marissa Saludo, vice president for operations of eBookMan.

For July 5, executive director Yoling Sevilla of The Leather Collection will speak on "Corporate Gift-Giving During Challenging Times," and managing director Michael Eala of Cristanelle International on "Riding the Tech Wave with SMS-based Promotions."

On July 6, there will be "An Afternoon with Entrepreneur Magazine Philippines," showing how to learn the latest trends and business opportunities with the country’s leading publication for the enterprising individual.

Later in the day, chief operating officer Kevin Khoe of Yehey.com will discuss "Online Marketing."

These free seminars will come back to back with Corporate Giveaways’ bargain center in the last two days of this four-day event, offering business gifts, novelties, premiums, promotional ideas and collaterals, and merchandise incentives at huge discounts.
