Manila bars make it to Asia's 50 Best Bars 2016

MANILA,Philippines — Aside from the most delicious dishes, Manila also offers some of the best cocktails in Asia.

Drinks International recently announced ABV and The Curator as among Asia's 50 Best Bars 2016. The awards, which has become one of the most anticipated releases for drinks professionals, provides a definitive list of the best drinking venues in Asia, voted for by more than 150 industry experts from Asia, representing the ultimate guide to the top bars in the region.

ABV secured the 14th spot while The Curator landed on the 16th spot.

An article on the website of the awards describes ABV as "gateway to a 1920s throwback."

"Drinks hover around classics and signature twists created by the staff, and ABV also has the largest absinthe collection in town – more than 30 bottles, from classic French-style absinthe pours to an absinthe fountain," it said.

Meanwhile it describes "The Curator" as a bar with an expert team which views both coffee and cocktails as an art, science and a craft.
