6 share SMC derby honors

MANILA, Philippines — Six entries scored four victories against one loss each to emerge co-champions in the second leg of the 14-stage Sta. Monica Star Circuit in Novaliches, Quezon City recently.

Louie Madlambayan of the GE Jima Alexa stable missed clinching the solo championship after his entry lost to Quincy Tan’s ace in the last fight, enabling the entries of Gov. Espina, Boss Don-Don, Atty. Tuban, Gerry Borcelos, Nitz Davao, Boss Arnold, Jong Morales and TMP to share top honors in the event promoted by Gerry Escalona, Alex Aguirre and Madlambayan.

Meanwhile, the third leg, set  Sept. 27,  will be promoted by Boggs Vinluan.
