Baby Falcons sweep Milcu caging U-16 elims

MANILA, Philippines - Adamson edged Paco Citizen Academy Foundation, 55-54, in Week 10 to sweep the 16-under elimination round of the Milcu Got Skills Hard To Guard basketball tournament at the La Salle Greenhills gym.

John Barba shot 18 points and grabbed six rebounds to power the Baby Falcons to their seventh straight win while earning the A Game Player of the Week honors at the close of the elims of the tournament sponsored by Milcu and sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas.

In other 16-U division results, Johnric Zomil fired 18 points as New Era University held off Wang’s 60-57 in the tournament backed by Basketball TV, Gerry’s Grill, Gatorade, Clyde Shoe Cleaner, LGR, SLAM, Rain or Shine, Honda, Coach Athletic Trainers Tape, Secret Fresh, Mighty Sports, Nousha Kebabs and Barbeque, FMR Bus Services, and Patricio’s Online Sneaker Source.

In 13-under results, University of Santo Tomas defeated Ateneo, 59-52; Xavier School thwarted Don Bosco Makati, 65-61; Ateneo beat Xavier, 50-43; and Skyhawk South Ballers routed Sacred Heart Academy of Pasig, 61-28.
