Balik-Canlubang golfest Jan. 5
MANILA, Philippines - The second Balik-Canlubang golf tournament will be held Jan. 5 with close to 60 players seeing action at the Canlubang Golf and Country Club North Course in Laguna.
The 18-hole tournament, supported by members of the Yulo family, members of the CGCC and Cangolf Seniors Association and other sponsors, will serve as one of the highlights of the week-long Balik-Canlubang community reunion slated Jan. 4-11.
Symetra Tour campaigner Dottie Ardina will hit the ceremonial drive to kick off the tournament to be played under the System 36 format.
Titles to be disputed are Classes A, B and C, according to tournament directors Rolly Viray and Darly Patalot with Fely Anillo as tournament coordinator. Fabulous prizes will also be raffled off during awards rites after the tournament.
