Javier, Lay top third stage of ABC circuit

MANILA, Philippines - Ronnie Javier of Miraga Trading waxed hot with a six-game series of 1362 to capture the Group I crown while Joan Lay of Glass Asia topped Group 2 with a 1052 in the Architects Bowling Club’s third leg circuit at the E-Lanes Center in Ortigas, Greenhills last week.

Boyet Libiran of Duraflex THHN Wires scored 1286, Hermie Prudente of Boysen Wallguard made a 1236 and Jerry Cham of Boysen Acrytex had a 1226 to finish second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group I of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Randy Poon of Duraflex TW Wires rolled a 1050, Ricky Martinez of Coach Furnitures submitted a 1038 and Paul Ayson of Spurway came up with a 1029 to place second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 2.

The tournament, backed by Steeltech, DN Steel, Moldex Pipes, August Alliance, WeKonstruct, HGC Phils., Energetix, Greystone, Dwightsteel, Morning Sun, Boysen Healthy Homes/Virtuoso/Knoxout, Concrete Ventures, Crown Pipes, Philflex Wires and Cables and Duraflex THW Wires, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the Corporate Cup Singles, also at E-Lanes.
