GMA CEO Felipe Gozon, nagwagi ng Global Leadership Award

MANILA, Philippines – Umani ng parangal si GMA Network Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon para sa kanyang pagiging mahusay na broadcast executive nang tanggapin niya ang prestihiyosong Global Leadership Award for Excellence in Media Sector noong March 5 sa Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Si Gozon ang kauna-unahang Pilipino na tumanggap ng nasabing in­ternational award na kumilala sa kanyang natatanging pagpapalakad sa Kapuso Network gayundin sa mga naging kontribusyon ng kumpanya sa industriya.

“This award is significant to me not only because I did not apply for it, but more importantly, I am told that I am the first Filipino to be given this award,” ayon kay Gozon.

Kilala sa kanyang hindi matatawarang kontribusyon sa tagumpay ng GMA, sinabi ni Gozon na positibo siya na magiging mas maganda ang hinaharap para sa Network.

“My vision for GMA Network is for its programs to enrich the lives of all Filipinos everywhere in the world and for the Network to become the number one TV station in Asia,” sabi niya.

Kinilala si Gozon ng Global Leadership Awards para sa kaniyang “keen involvement in spear­heading the corporate business and community development, and for the continued effort and contributions done towards steering [GMA] to greater heights.”

Ang Global Leadership Awards ay itinuturing bilang “most impactful event” sa ASEAN Region. Ito ay nasa ilalim ng pangangasiwa ng The Lea­ders International kasama ang American Leadership Development Association (ALDA). Kinikilala nito ang mga natatanging Global Leaders mula sa diplomatic, business, government, philanthropic, media, celebrity, at social sectors.
