WATCH: Duterte says terms of reference for 3rd telco at hand

MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte said the terms of reference for the entry of a new telecommunication services company is at hand, adding that the administration remains firm in ensuring “reliable, inexpensive, and secure” services.

He noted that the terms should be “fair, reasonable, and comprehensive," and that both local and foreign private entities would be able to enter the industry.
