Honeylet Avanceña, the partner of President Rodrigo Duterte who has been assuming some of the duties of a first lady, defended her significant other amid criticisms connected to killings in the his campaign against drugs.
Speaking before the Philippine National Police at the drug rehabilitation program launching on October 3, Avanceña claimed that having known the president for years, ordering killings is "not his cup of tea."
