Poe camp hopes for favorable SC ruling on DQ case

MANILA, Philippines – After filing the plea to reverse the ruling of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to disqualify presidential aspirant Sen. Grace Poe, her camp remained hopeful that the Supreme Court (SC) will rule in her favor.

Team Grace Poe 2016 Secretary General Susie Viola said they are counting on SC’s fair judgment on Poe’s candidacy. She cited that their camp already knew they were not favored from the beginning since she is not running under the Liberal Party.

“Naniniwala kami na magiging patas ang Supreme Court,” Viola said.
